Used telescopes 5 to 8 inches

Telescopes from 5 to 8 inches (127 to 203 mm) are where most observers settle. An 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain or Dobsonian shows Saturn's rings, Jupiter's cloud belts, plenty of galaxies and globular clusters, and it's still something one person can carry and set up. This band includes the most common used scopes of all, like the C8, NexStar 8SE and XT8, so there's a lot to choose from. Used, most of these ship in a box, though big mounts may come separately.
